The Arc of St. Clair County

Achieve with us.

We support and protect the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and we advocate for their full inclusion in our community, from the classroom to adulthood.

500+

St. Clair County residents and families turn to The Arc each year for support and advocacy.

Our advocates bring more than five decades of combined personal and professional experience.

How we help

The Arc works one-on-one with people and families, and pushes for system-wide change so people with disabilities can live full lives. We look at the person, not the disability.

Child & family advocacy

Our child advocate works with parents, students and schools so every child can realize their right to a free and equal education.

Adult advocacy

From person-centered planning to Social Security benefits, our adult advocates help people build the life they want for themselves.

Parents’ Connect

Sometimes you need advice; sometimes you just need someone who listens. Email us to join our network of parents.
